Plain English version: Buy a pack, use it in your Roblox games (free or paid), modify it however you want. Don't repackage and resell our VFX as your own, and don't share the raw .rbxm file with people who haven't paid for it.

At a glance

This page describes how you can use VFX packs purchased from robloxvfx.com. By purchasing or downloading any pack, you agree to the terms below.

Quick reference

You can

  • Use packs in unlimited Roblox experiences
  • Use packs in monetized / commercial games
  • Modify, recolor, and remix effects
  • Combine with your own work

You can't

  • Resell, sublicense, or redistribute packs
  • Share the .rbxm file outside your team
  • Claim authorship of the original VFX
  • Use packs outside of Roblox experiences

License grant

When you purchase a VFX pack, robloxvfx grants you a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the contents of that pack inside Roblox experiences you create or contribute to.

This license is granted to a single individual developer per purchase. For team or studio use, see Multi-seat licenses below.

Permitted use

You may use any VFX pack you have purchased to:

  • Build Roblox experiences for personal, educational, or commercial release
  • Modify the effects (colors, particle counts, shapes, timing, scripts) however you wish
  • Combine our effects with effects you have created yourself or licensed elsewhere
  • Use effects across an unlimited number of separate Roblox experiences you publish

Prohibited use

The following activities are not permitted under any circumstance:

  • Reselling, sublicensing, or redistributing packs as standalone assets, whether modified or not
  • Including pack contents in another asset bundle, marketplace listing, or template you intend to sell
  • Sharing the original .rbxm file outside the licensed team or studio
  • Using effects outside of the Roblox platform (in other game engines, video productions, or non-Roblox software)
  • Claiming authorship or ownership of the original VFX assets

Multi-seat licenses

For studios, group projects, and shared development environments, multi-seat licenses are available at checkout. Each seat covers one developer who needs direct access to the .rbxm file.

If you publish a Roblox experience under a group, only developers with direct access to the source files need a seat. Players experiencing your finished game do not.

Attribution

Attribution is appreciated but never required. If you'd like to credit robloxvfx in your game's description or credits scene, that's lovely — but you are under no obligation to do so.

Termination

This license remains in effect for the lifetime of your account. If you violate the terms above, robloxvfx reserves the right to revoke your license and remove the pack from your account.
